Murthy wants to put a woman on Infosys board

NR Narayana Murthy, set to retire as chairman of the company he co-founded three decades ago, has one unfinished task -- to bring a woman leader back on the Infosys board.
It's a challenge that not just he and the IT services sector are grappling with; most of India Inc is dealing with the same issue, what with one recent study indicating that just 48 women account for 1,112 directorships on the companies that make up the BSE 100.
