MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Francisco d'Souza, president and CEO of Cognizant Technology Solutions, was named "CEO of the Year" by the South Asian MBA Association during its third annual conference here May 7 at the Computer History Museum.

The Nairobi-born d'Souza - who earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon - has been named by Business Week as one of the world's most successful immigrants.

After a four-year stint at Dun and Bradstreet, D'Souza joined Cognizant in 1994 and took over as its CEO in 2007.
