Software major Infosys conducted campus recruitment at the Toc H Institute of Science and Technology (TIST), Arakkunnam, during which it spotted 45 percent of requirement. Of this, 50 percent was from TIST.

The students from the engineering colleges of Poonjar, Munnar and Kidangoor attended the recruitment.

Varadharaj Venkataraman, head of the talent recruitment team of Infosys in India, said there are almost 30,000 vacancies in Infosys, which is double the requirement compared to last year�s.

Tinu K Mathew, senior associate in lead for talent acquisition (HRD), Infosys, expressed happiness as almost 45 percent of the students got placement at the drive, which includes 50 from TIST.
