Three-year-old girl who fell into 200-feet deep borewel dies

A three-year-old girl who fell into a 200-feet deep, two-feet wide borewell near here in Punjab died Thursday, after rescuers took more than 20 hours to reach her. The government announced Rs.one lakh relief for her family.
Dilrajpreet Kaur fell into the borewell in Dhira village while playing in the courtyard of her uncle's house Wednesday.
Initially, the police tried to rescue the child but called the Indian Army after realising they needed more skilled expertise.
