Podar World School puts marshalls on school bus to control unruly students
Wednesday, 2nd June 2010
Handling a bunch of unruly students in a school bus isn’t an easy task, nor is controlling a reckless school bus driver. Therefore, to ensure discipline, Podar World School in Santa Cruz (West) plans to appoint bus marshals from this academic year.
“The marshal will mainly control the staff on the bus and ensure that the school bus policy is followed properly,” said Colonel J Thakur, in-charge of school buses in Podar World School. “Apart from the lady attendants, the marshals will assist the students when boarding and alighting from the buses.”
