Parents force 7-month pregnant daughter to abort child - they did not like her husband

A seven-month pregnant 22-year-old woman working in the Capital was allegedly forced by her family in Muzaffarnagar to undergo an abortion because she married against their wishes.
The woman's husband has alleged that her parents tricked her into visiting them and then forcibly had the pregnancy terminated. Her husband says she is seriously ill and at a nursing home in Meerut.
Manav Tyagi and Deepika Shukla met and fell in love at a coaching centre. Manav said the couple had to flee to the Capital because her parents objected.
