Ruchika molester SPS Rathore's sentence increases to 18 months

A sessions court on Tuesday increased the sentence of former Haryana DGP S P S Rathore from six months to 18 months.
Rathore had filed a plea challenging the six-month sentence awarded to him by a CBI court for molesting teenager Ruchika Girhotra.
Ruchika's family and the CBI had also filed petitions seeking enhancement of the sentence to maximum two years.
