Mangalore plane crash: 22 bodies still unidentified
Tuesday, 25th May 2010
It has been more than two days since the Air India Express flight IX-812 crashed after overshooting Mangalore's Bajpe airport killing 158 people. But the bodies of 22 victims are yet to be identified.
Authorities say DNA test results will take more than a week to come, which means the relatives are in for a painful wait. The only indication of the remains of pilot Captain Zlatko Glusica was a small shred of his blue-coloured uniform.
Now the painful task of pulling out badly charred remains and identifying them is slowly coming to an end. But for many this tragedy is still unfolding
