Drunk-driving wife of serving colonel kills two in Delhi

The lethal mix of speed and alcohol returned to haunt the capital late on Saturday night after a colonel's wife drove her Honda City car head-on into an auto ferrying three passengers. The collision left the auto driver and one passenger dead, the other two passengers were admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in critical condition. The incident took place near Church Road petrol pump in the Delhi Cantonment area around 11.30 pm.
The deceased have been identified as auto driver Rajkumar (46) and passenger Ved Prakash Gupta (53). The two injured men have been identified as Jeet Singh (28) and Medh Singh (27).
