Mumbai 'miracle doctor' Munir Khan surrenders to police

The self-proclaimed scientist and miracle doctor Munir Khan was arrested on Wednesday on charges of cheating and forgery after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Supreme Court on Monday. Khan surrendered at the Versova police station and was produced before a local court, which remanded him in police custody till May17.
Khan, who was on the run since last year, has been accused of cheating over 185 people by claiming that his medicine ‘Body Revival’ can cure all disease, including cancer. He had priced the medicine at Rs15,600 per 100ml bottle, the police said.
