Caught copying NIT Jamshedpur student hangs himself

An engineering student from Bangladesh today allegedly committed suicide here after he was "caught using unfair means" during an examination. 20-year-old Kratu Choudhury, who hailed from Chatgaon district of Bangladesh and a second-year student of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Adityapur near here, was found hanging from ceiling fan of his hostel room, institute spokesman Malay Neeraj said.
Though he was rushed to Tata Main Hospital, doctors declared him brought dead, he said. Earlier in the day, Choudhury was caught red-handed while using unfair means during the ongoing fourth semester examination, the spokesman claimed.
