Aide gives BJP Minister's address to claim fraud compensation

KIADB pays compensation to two men for the same 4-acre property near BIA. One of them, M H Soni, is alleged to be the ministerís confidante

The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) has given out compensation cheques of Rs 1.24 crore each to two men for the same four-acre plot. The board acquires land for industries in the state, and took over the plot near the Bangalore International Airport for an SEZ.

The first compensation claim was subsequently exposed as false and KIADB is trying to recover the money from the claimant, a certain M H Soni.

Soni gave minister Katta Subramanya Naiduís house address to receive the cheque of Rs 1.24 crore.
