Poorna Patel, buddy Laila Mallya joined IPL together

Both, Laila and Poorna were roped in the IPL 2008 November just earlier Champions League planned for December that year but decided to cancel as per the Mumbai terror attacks.
Poorna Patel is the daughter of Praful Patel, Civil Aviation Minister. Vijay Mallya, the liquor tycoon is the step-father of Laila.
Poorna Patel (24) stepped in to look after the services related to marketing & hospitality of the IPL.
Laila & Poorna Patel are also close to Gayatri Reddy of the Reddy family, which owns Deccan Chargers.
