Foreign tourists set off to Sikkim from Kerala on autorickshaws

Kerala: In a unique sightseeing exercise and adventure trip of India, tourists from various countries have set off to Sikkim from here in autorickshaws.
About 70 autorickshaws, painted in different hues have embarked on the journey, which was flagged off yesterday.
The Kochi-Sikkim route is expected to be covered in two weeks and the teams have the liberty to choose their own routes, according to 'Rickshaw Run' organsiers Adventure South Asia director of operations, Mathew Dickens.
Among the participants, is a woman who is travelling alone in her autorickshaw, besides an NRI team.
