Delhi IIT girl student found murdered in Shimla hotel

A female tourist, believed to be 22 year old student of IIT Delhi was found murdered in a hotel in Shimla on Saturday. According to the police, the victim had come with a male companion to a hotel in Himachal Pradesh's capital.
"A woman around 22-yeard-old was today (Saturday) found lying in a pool of blood in Rashik Hotel in Kaithu area of the city. As per the records of the hotel, she checked in the hotel with her companion yesterday (Friday) at 3 pm," Superintendent of Police R M Sharma said.
He said the police found the resume of the man from the crime scene, identifying him as Gaurav Verma, a student of the Indian Institute of Technology-Roorkee.
