After losing all hope of finding their friend, a group of techies in Chennai have resorted to blogging to bring success to their futile searches.

“Balu Kuttapan (28), a native of Kerala, had joined the CTS, Chennai recently. He stayed along with his friend in Thuraipakkam. On February 3, he left the office at Thuraipakkam around 3.45 pm, due to serious sinus problem, after informing his friend. But he didn’t reach his room located in the same area,” reads the blog titled ‘Where Are You Bals?’

The last call he attended was an official call from the office between 4.25 pm and 5.30 pm. “At that time, the tower location of his mobile phone was Pazhavanthankal,” reads the message in the blog. In the mid-night, his room mate Dinesh informed his colleague that Balu has not reached the room. Since then his friends have been searching for him in various places in the city, but in vain. “We have lodged a missing complaint with the police and gave them all the details about him,” said Hari Krishnan, a software engineer and a friend of Balu.
