60-year-old man accused of raping minor girl

A 60-year-old man, Mehboob Miyan Sheikh, who was arrested on Saturday night based on allegations of raping a minor girl in Madhavpura has reportedly claimed innocence.
Sheikh, who was arrested on basis of a complaint filed by the mother of the victim, has told police that he is innocent and is not involved in the alleged case. According to sources, the man has been working in a transport company in the area for the past two decades.
