Farmer poisons family and kills himself in Bankura

Debdulal Ghosh owned a small patch of land in the Khichka village in Taldangra. A habitual gambler he was under crushing debt.
On Sunday night Ghosh laced family dinner with poison and ate it with his wife and children. Bandana Ghosh (38), Seema (16) and Subhankar (8) died on the way to hospital. Ghosh's body was recovered from a field near his house this afternoon.
