Rise in students suicides prompts review of syllabus

The state government has asked the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Tiss) to do a “comprehensive” study on the alarming rise of suicide among students. School education minister Balasaheb Thorat on Wednesday said the government has done primary investigation, but a detailed study is needed.
