Patni layoffs: Eight more key executives likely to quit

Ahead of the crucial board meeting scheduled for today, more details are available on the exit of senior Patni executives from the combined Patni-iGate firm.

Economic Times reports that eight members of Patni�s executive leadership team which reported to CEO Jeya Kumar will resign. Naresh Lakhanpal, head of Americas, and V Mathivanan, head of APAC,Rajiv Ranjan , head of business operations, and Manish Mehta, chief delivery officer for application services, are expected to leave.

They will be replaced by their iGate counterparts or in some cases by other Patni executives.

Ajay Chamania and Deepak Khosla, who led Patni�s product engineering services and the India market businesses respectively, were the first ones to go. Their exit was followed by the reports that Patni CEO Jeya Kumar, CFO Surajeet Singh and HR head Steve Correa, besides the Patni brothers would also step down.
