IT hiring was good in April 2011, says Monster

Hiring activities in the country picked up last month on the back of increased demand for professionals across various sectors, including IT, according to job portal Monster.com.
The Monster Employment Index, an indicator of online job demand, rose to 124 in April from 118 in March.
The index has been improving since October, 2010, indicating better recruitment activities.
