The BSNL is ahead of others when it comes to Mobile Number Portability (MNP). Its BSNL East Godavari region has found the top spot in Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in the country with the highest number of customers being switched to its network from others. This was announced by G. Raghavendra Rao, General Manager, along with Manoj Kumar, DGM, at a press conference here on Tuesday.

The total number of �port-in'' customers during the period between January 20 and April 25 in the State was one lakh, while the number was 22,000 in East Godavari district alone which was more than that of Tamil Nadu (18,000) followed by Karnataka (12,000), Mr. Raghavendra Rao said. On the other hand, the number of �port-out' customers in the State was 22,000 of which only 900 customers belonged to East Godavari district, he added.
