Bharti Airtel is set to launch IPTV in Bangalore later this week. Launched 20 months ago, Airtel IPTV is currently available in the Delhi NCR region, across 40,000 users. IPTV is digital television delivered on the broadband network and watched on the TV screen. It provides the time-shift feature, which records and stores TV programmes for a period of seven days � giving customers the choice to watch any programme at any time. Other features include rewind, fast-forward and pause, apart from a library of movie titles in several languages. Airtel IPTV supports 127 TV channels, with the time-shift feature in 42 channels.
