Ridiculed by classmates, schoolgirl ends life in Bangalore

A 14-year-old eighth standard student of Sharada School committed suicide at her house near Vijaya Talkies in Byatarayanapura police station limits on Tuesday night.
Police said Gayatri, daughter of Surendra and Sumathi, took the extreme step after her classmates reportedly made fun of her.
In a death note found in one of her notebooks, she had held three classmates responsible for her death, and requested the police to arrest them.
